where can I get a download for house floor plans? I want to draw the floor plans for our new house. I need a free download compatible for windows ME. Does anyone know a web site where I can get this? I tried sketch up the download is not compatible with windows me. Is there any other free download?

Floor Plans for my new house? We are getting ready to begin drawing up the plans for our new house. I do not want to use predrawn house plans because the houses here in Romania are so unique I plan on useing their style. However I need ideas and tips on creating my own plans things someone might not consider unless they have already built or are building. Here are some of the things I already know. about 2,000 sq feet 2 floors tile and marble through the entire house concrete building materals 2 upstairs balconys We have mild summers and cold winters here. I need ideas please We plan on having the underfloor heating for the cold winters and we don't wear shoes inside. As well as breezeways since air cond is not needed here. When we are closer to building our company's architect and builder will finalize my plans but I wanted to do as much on my own as possible.

where can i find the floor plans of Winslow House? I am looking for the floorplans of the Winslow House by Frank Lloyd Wright. I have the ground floor plan but i dont know where to find the second and third floor plan. Does anyone know where I can find them? hmmm, well it would be a BIT hard for me to rob it since i am only 4000 miles away!! and have never been in america! so no i want to find the plans so i can build a model
How do I get architectural floor plans of my old house (Ohio) before redesigning? My parents have charged me with drawing up some plans and elevations of their home in Cincinnati, OH for a remodeling project and I have no idea on how to get a hold of the floor plans. I live around 400 miles away so field measuring is out of the question. The house was supposedly built in 1937-ish that's about all I've got to build on (no punn intended)... I've narrowed it down to a specific township, and called the building department, but they do not keep records of homes that are older than 1993. Hmmm? Someone must have this info correct? I was told to visit the local library, but that seems silly as they wouldn't really have floor plans available of private residences? Any help is welcome. Thanks y'all.

If you have looked through estate agent websites before, did you see any with floor plan layouts, were they useful? I am looking for a 4/2, one or two story house floor plan!...? I would like for all the bedrooms to be at the same end of the house (as I have 3 young children). I also like the look of an open floor plan, but would kind of like to have a formal dining room (not a necessity, though). Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!!!

help with decorating a living room to coordinate with two other rooms in an open floor plan house? my house has an open floor plan. the walls are a shade lighter than mustard yellow. my formal dining room is right next to the living room and it has traditional oak furniture and it has a buffet with a charcoal gray marble top. my hearth room is also next to my living room becuase it is right in front of my kitchen, which has stainless steel appliances and uba tuba (ooba tooba?) green granite counter tops along with cherry cabinets. The hearth room has contemporary black leather furniture and black glass tables. how can i coordinate my living room to look good with both my traditional-style formal dining room and my contemporary hearth room. please let me know if you need any more information. any suggestions for stores are welcome. links with pieces that you like from stores like Bombay and Pier One would also be very helpful. thanks!
have existing house, need some renovation floor plans where do i go? i have a large formal dining and living area that i want to convert into a bedroom for my 85 father, but by creating the wall and door for the room it really makes the entry feel very claustrophic. I am looking for some suggestions for this. If I do the room I would walk in the front door and have wall on both sides. HELP

New house- open floor plan- how to paint it??? We just bought a brand new home- and all the walls are white. I want to paint the downstairs- but the plan is open- how do I do this? I have been all over The Net reading and haven't come up with anything. I want to do a southwestern style. Any ideas on painting it or where to get ideas on painting? TIA The flooring downstairs is stained concrete- it's a rust color stain on the concrete. The upstairs is light carpeting- light tan.
