how much does a regular roofing cost? Moderate Slant. Main floor is about 2000 to 2500. Also what are some websites that could give me these estimates? I have already checked out roofsmith.com
Roofing: redeck, reroof cost? I live in the south. Anyone have an idea (per square) what it would cost to: Rip off one single layer of asphault shingles, one layer of wood shingles, re-deck with plywood, and re-roof with asphault?
Roofing costs? Currently, I live in a house that has a flat tar & gravel roof, which is laid directly over the tongue & groove cedar that is also the ceiling. Just before we moved in three years ago, the landlord had the roof re-done. Every year that we have lived here, the roof has leaked when it rains. I have been trying to convince the landlord that he should add on a vaulted roof, but I understand that this will be more expensive than just adding more tar & gravel, except for the fact that he wouldn't have to re-do it every year. My husband and I started talking this weekend, and realized that foam is another potential option. Does anyone know what the relative costs are for all of these roofing options per square foot? I realize that it may differ in my area, but if you know the cost of each within your own geography, could you please share? I'd like to make a proposal to the landlord that has facts to back it up. So, for the record, I'm looking for costs here. I know that the overall project will require knowing the total square footage. Just hoping to get a per-square-foot cost comparison, if anybody knows.
Roofing costs? How much does roofing cost? The roof is approx. 720 sq. ft and it is a new addition so there is no layers to take off. Just regular asphalt shingles, nothing fancy.
How Much would a new Roof cost? Ok My Home is about 1500 square feet with a steep slope to the roof. About how much would it cost to re roof it? it has to be stripped there is like 5 layers underneath this stuff. last layer is Shake Shingles. It all has to come off to re roof. How much does a solar panel system for your roof cost in the U.S.? I have seen and heard about these companies that will install solar power panels on your roof and they claim depending on how sunny it is where you live that your electricity bills will be drastically reduced and you could even generate so much power that your electric meter will spin in reverse and the power company will pay you for the excess power generated. So, my question is, how much does one of these solar power arragements cost?

How much does a new roof cost? It's a 1900 sq. ft. single story home on Sonoma County CA, Basic square shape, not very steep. I'm young(ish) and plan to rip the old wood shingles off myself to save on costs. I just need a basic ball park number. Also, it noes not leak, but the wood shingles are curling upward and the house is starting to look line a pine cone. A friend told me it's "normal" and "does not need to be replaced... the shingles will flatten out in the winter with moisture." I'm afraid it's going to catch fire. (and it looks ugly) Who's right?

Hello What is the approximate cost for a new roof with the following details: Approximately 250 sqft standard shingles 2 large skylights approx 16 sqft each (No chimneys) It has 2 layers of old shingles currently There doesnt appear to be any rotted wood Low grade incline Location: Chester County, PA (Near Philadelphia) Any idea what is the cost (including labor, materials and disposal of old shingles) I am thinking it should be around $2500 since it is a small roof. How much, on average, does it cost to replace a roof? The roof in my bedroom (which measures approximately 14' x 14') is leaking. I've had 5 contractors out to give estimates. I'm getting vastly different opinions on what needs to be done and how much it will cost. Two roofers said it can be repaired at a cost of less than $800. 3 have said that the roof needs to be replaced and have given estimates of $5,000 to $5,800. Now, I don't know anything about roofing, but to me that seems awfully high. It's only 1 room. It currently has a metal roof, and the roof over that room is flat. My sister's house is 3x the size of mine and it cost her less than $6000 to cover her old roof with a new one, and she used top-of-the-line shingles. So how can one room cost 5 grand? I suspect that these guys are trying to screw me over because I don't have a husband. Another roofer is coming on Monday and I want to know how to handle this. Please help!

How much would it cost to have roof of my Cavalier LS repainted at Maaco? I hear mixed things about the quality of their work, and am actually a bit apprehensive to have any work done on my car there at all. What do you know about the workwanship of Maaco from personal experiences or the experiences of people who have had work done with them? And if I do decide to have them repaint my roof (primed, repainted, and clear coated), around how much would it cost me? There is a sunroof on my car and my car is black.
