remodeling ideas for typical loft raised ranch house? I am thinking to remodel my kitchen on my loft raised ranch and also finish the basement and remodel the bathrooms. Does anyone have any ideas or design plans? Would like to spend about 50-70 k for all. Is this reasonable? Rough breakdown of the cost?

Does anyone have remodeling ideas? I would like to remodel the inside of my trailer, or mobile home. We have paneling and I would like to get rid of that but I dont' know how, and we don't have much money. The paneling is old and has holes in certain places, and I need to replace. Any idea's?
Window just above the bathtub remodeling/design ideas? I am remodeling a bathroom and I have a window just above the tub. If you take a shower, you need to cover it with a window curtain. I firstly have already painted my room purple and was trying to stick with the colour themes pink and purple with some black. Remodeling ideas #2? i was looking online and i went to linens and things and found this pale blue nautica one but it came to being almost $500 for 2 beds because i share a room. I want my walls to be a pale blue and i want colors like pale blue, grey/blackish, brown in my comforter. i went to target, marshalls, kohls, macys .. any other ideas of where i can get something like that?
Existing plywood flooring remodeling ideas or tips? Ready to rip up my carpet I am left with plywood flooring. I am unable to afford another flooring option (carpet, laminate, tile etc.) and would like to know any ideas tips and/or cost advice to make my plywood floor look great would be appreciated. Am thinking modern colors with good resale value. No doors on tub area, just shower curtain. Your input please. Not quite interested in pedestal sinks, though that's the trend these days.

remodeling a bathroom, garage style, ideas please? Im redoing my sons bathroom, very small area, just where sink and commode are is about 4x6 feet. other side is shower stall. I am considering doing it in garage style and anything goes. am looking at parts washer for sink, tool box for vanity cabinet, diamond plate wallpaper, lots of chrome, stainless, galvanized, stuff. The flooring has me stymied. Looking for something like a hard surface you would find in a shop or garage, but i have particle wood floor base. He wants a concrete look. Please throw any ideas my way for things to do to this bathroom, i pretty much will try anything.
I am remodeling my bedroom, and I need some good ideas? At the moment my room is extremely bright; one wall is yellow, one's orange, one's red, and one is those colors striped. I have an orange bed cover, colorful rugs and lights, etc etc.. I've had that for a while so I was going to re do my room. I want it to be cozy and comfortable with maybe a wall of pictures and a hanging chair or hammock and lots of pillows, with bamboo blinds and a new desk, and I need help on deciding what kind of paint combination would be good, and what comforter cover would be nice with the paint etc etc.. I'm not good at design, so any help is great! I'm kind of going for the blue green kind of thing. Thanks!
Remodeling Good Idea? I am a Black Belt and one of the top instructors at this karate studio that I teach/train at and I organized 4 other people with myself to help remodel the studio that was dirty...I mean 35 years worth. I figured that I was sick of training to the point where my white clothes and feet would get black. So we cleaned and remodel a little to make it nice for people to come in and be proud, and so we wouldn't get in trouble with a health inspector coming in, but now I believe that my teacher isn't too thrilled but he's happy that we cared enough to help. What do I do?

I just bought a new home - love the floor plan but not the kitchen. Need to remodel...any ideas? Hi, I just bought a new home - love the floor plan but not the kitchen. The previous owners have put granite floors, stone tiles for countertop, maple cabinets and white appliances. The ganite is black with brown spots like pattern - it is similar to the photos posted in the previous discussion named "Kitchens I have designed". The countertop is light brown with brown grout and the maple cabinets are the light colored kind. If you can imagine it - nothing goes together in the kitchen. I am not sure if I want to change the granite floors as that extends to the family room (open plan). Currently the walls are beige and I am planning on changing that to brown (not very dark but dark). What else should I change in the kitchen to make it look look beautiful? I am looking around in the forum and see very talented and creative people here - so, I am hoping to get some opinions about this. Please do let me know. I really appreciate it! Thank you!
Remodeled Bedroom... PLEASE HELP!! Need Ideas!? I just remodeled my bedroom and I need some suggestions on how to give it a little more pizzaz. 2 of the 4 walls in my room are a very light baby pink, 1 of the walls is like a dark pink magenta-ish color, and the Last wall is Lime green. Remodeling software that is easy? We are thinking of remodeling our house...new different size windows, siding, maybe an addition, gut and re dry wall etc. Anyone have any ideas on a remodeling software that is VERY easy to use and either free or relatively cheap.
Does this sound like a good idea for remodeling my bathroom? Im going to get rid of the old toilet and replace it with a urinal that looks like a womans head and her mouth is going to be open and that's where you pee. And if you want to flush, you have to pull the hair and the mouth closes, and you're ready to pee in it again
