What kind of recessed lighting should I use for my unfinished basement? IC, non-IC - new construction, remodel

My unfinished basement is 11'6" by 22". Ceiling height around 7'. Exposed floor joists. I was at Home Depot today looking at recessed cans (Halo) and there were too many choices for me. Should I use IC, Non IC? Should I use new construction or remodel? How many should I buy? Help! Any info will be useful I'm planning on drywalling the ceiling. I might put insulation in the ceiling. Dimensions are 11'6" by 21'3". Floor to bottom of floor joist is just under 7'.

1. Use whatever you like best, depending what your using the basement for is how many lights you will need ask at home depot they will help you out the best.....
2. In the basement are you gonna have sheetrocked ceilings or not? Next question, Is there gonna be insulation? in the sheetrock? If not then you can get non ic... If you have sheetrocked ceilings, or therproper term "finished ceilings", then you can use remodel cans, if not then just use new construction. Now I cannot give you measurements for a lighting scale until you give me exacts. Is the basement exactly rectangular? And are your numbers accurate, I see you put 22 inches is that correct?
