where do I get help on: comparison essay home remodeling point by point outline?

What kind of help? I just read up on comparison/contrast essays and it seems to me it's just debating the pros and cons of a subject by yourself. For example, DIY or hire a proffesional? DIY: Cost effective, personal satisfaction, learning something new. Proffesional: Job is done right, recourse if something goes wrong, don't have to sweat. Then just elaborate on each point, probably the more points and more elaboration, the better. Now, I'll admit, I've never heard of this type of essay let alone composed one, so I could be completely wrong. But any specific questions you have, just pose them here and you'll get competant answers.
