roofing contract?
Does anyone know what is required to write out a contract for a roofing job?,...i normaly don't use contracts when I do jobs, but this time my client asked for one because its a pretty big job that I'm going to be doing for him. What needs to be included in it?

- All you have to do is organize your thoughts. List each specific component of the job (not the small stuff). Offer seperate cost figures for the materials, labor and overhead, and give them a total. You don't want to give them your cost, all you want to do is tell them what you'll charge. Be ready for them to take out of the contract any part you've priced that they think they won't need to have done. If they can't see it, they probaby can't ask it to be omitted. That's really all they want--something in writing so that they can hold you to it.
