How do I get the yellow stains left by rubber tires out of my vinyl floor?

My sons bike left tire marks on the vinyl kitchen floor and stupid me I didnt rub them off right away. Well apparently rubber leaves a yellow stain if it sits too long. I tried magic eraser, bleach and even ammonia! any other ideas?

  1. my mom used the tide to go stick on the weirdest thing and she says it works try that it might take a few attempts but it is worth a try. and it that does not work home depot is having a sale on kitchen vinyle flooring lol joking. good luck!!
  2. Boy that sounds like a tough one. Here are a couple of suggestions: 1) 20 Mule Team Borax 2) Simple Green 3) Peroxide (its great for protein stains....is there protein in rubber? Ha Ha! This site also had some good suggestions for cleaning stubborn stains on linoleum: http://www.doityourself.com/stry/floorlinoleum
  3. try putting a little paint thinner on a cloth then rub it out.... I use it to remove scuff and adhesive on vinyl rugs quite often
  4. unfortunately, the vinyl has absorbed the stain and it is now part of the floor.
