Mercedes rubber floor mats?
I don't know how to "properly" clean my rubber floor mats. I tried using soap(car), water, and over and over again, scrubbing them with a sponge, but the scuff marks left by peoples' feet leave a whitish mark that won't go away. They're also starting to look dull, and I am told not to "armor all" the mats because I don't want to leave any type of residue on my carpet . Your advice is greatly appreciated!

- SCRUB THEM WITH POTATOES
- Buy new ones!
- Thanks for the 2 points ;) use, a butter knife and some muscles
- i would try goo gone or something along those lines then follow with soap and water. if that does not work - contact a local car detailer and ask their advice! Good luck!
- I would take them to the car wash - hang them up on the clips of the wall and use the hot pressure water wash wand to clean them. Do Mercedes owner's really clean their own cars? If not, I would take it to a professional auto detailing shop.
- It may sound ridiculous but in a small corner of the mat with a rag scrub it with brake fluid and see the results, don't do to much. GOOD LUCK!!
