where may i find recycled granules from shingles and roofing?

1. The granules are screened stone dust. You can get at your local landscaping place or most gravel pits $10 or less a yard new. Also try pool filter sand.
2. How much do you need? If it's only a few cupfuls, find a house with a brand new composition roof and look in the gutters.
