roofing my house, need details on how to, arch. shingles, gable roof?

First of all to answer your question I need alittle info. What kind of roof is on their?Regular 3 tab shingles,heavy duty,wood etc. etc.Also do you need to tear off the old roof or are you doing a nail over?As far as putting a new roof on.the lay out or "staggered" you would first start at the left side (looking from street to house. Listen if you can wait till tommorow,answer these questions.I cannot complete this until then.
