  1. the area is probably just dry. you should use a humidifier in the areas
  2. put more moisture into the air. dry air causes that. also don't shuffle your feet on carpet.
  3. use a dryer sheet when you dry your clothes
  4. You might want try wearing rubber soled shoes, and make sure that you are picking your feet up when you walk. I encounter the same thing occassionally. Some people carry a higher static charge on them than others. I know a guy who cannot wear a watch because the static charge makes them quit running. Good luck.
  5. My wife touches something nonmetal before she touches anything metal. She swears by it. I personally touch every piece of metal I see as I walk through the house. DOn't let the static electricity build up.
  6. Try to calm down. If your feeling hyper sometimes you can cause electrical charges I used to get this way ony it effected things differently--like 3 different light bulbs burning out one by one from 3 different lamps right after the other, as well as windshield wipers going in all directions (with OUT me turning them on--it used to happen a lot when I was either very mad, or very excited) Also once my car horn went off by ITSELF in parking lot and this CHinese man thot i honked at him. I laughed and said "I didn't do it!!" He just looked at me. apparently he didn't believe meLOL *wear gloves
  7. Spray some "Static Guard Spray " on your clothing. Then touch your clothing first. If you pump gas, remember to touch the car first , whenever you get out of it. Then you can touch the pump.
