Where can I buy something decorative to fill the hole left by old cabinet door pulls?
My kitchen cabinet doors have the knob right in the middle. They are very awkward to use so we just never use them. I would like to replace them with something decorative as opposed to leaving a hole there. I don't know where to buy such an item. (Not interested in wooden plugs - I was thinking something very noticable to coordinate with my kitchen).

- you know what might look cool would be a fake key hole. you can try looking at vandykes.com you can get a load of different finishes. or maybe a screw cover used on end tables and those kinda things. search for "escutcheon."
- Why not get some small artwork that would add to the decor of your kitchen (embossed is best for easy cleaning) and then add a small trim (you can buy wood trim for crafts at any craft store and most home building stores (lowes, home depot) If you don't want to put more holes in the doors make the item first with a backing and then add a short screw behind the art and stick it thru the door and fasten it with a bold on the inside.
- Why go to an arts and crafts store and look at the little wooden figures? They are relatively cheap and can come in any thing you want. From just a simple shape (to add dimension to your cabinets) or like a butterfly (depending on your theme.) Also, you can paint them any color and the hole won't show at all. Hope this helps. :O)
