  2. Usually on the middle edge or top corner edge. Whatever you prefer
  3. Anywhere you like. Preferably in the easiest place to reach. Some people like putting them in the middle, but I have seen them in many different places,
  4. Towards the bottom, on the inner side of the door. You can put them anywhere you want to be honest with you. Wherever you feel comfortable grabbing them is where you should put them.

  6. Where they are the most convenient for their height in relation to their use ! Higher the cabinet the lower the knob. Lower cabinets it is just the opposite !

You can I guess place a knob anywhere on a cabinet, but usually people place then on the edge furthest from the hinge and if it is a lower cabinet door the know will be toward the top and if it is on a upper cabinet it will be on the lower corner. But I have seen them in several places located on a cabinet. I would evaluate what looks best for the cabinet and knob selections, and then take in to consideration function (meaning what is most convenient).
  8. I think it depends on your knobs. If you only have one knob then put it in the middle. Most have two knobs though. So one goes on each side, depending on how you like it to look. If it has a handle already then you can save your knobs for some other needs. Good Luck. stef

  11. No real standards. As most of your other responders have said, where ever they are most accessible and look best to you. Make a trip to your local home repair center and take a look at all of their models and make up your mind. Be sure to carry a small measuring tape with you. I am a custom cabinet builder and that is a question that I ask every single client. "Where do YOU want the knobs located"?
