- THEY MAKE BRASS CLEANER NAME BRASSO.aLSO REAL FINE STEELWOOL WILL DO IT,00 OR 000 GRADE.TRUTHFULY
- brasso you can buy it at walmart. all you need is a soft cloth to wipe it off with. it stinks but works.
- First remove them from the cabinet, then make a watery paste of vinegar and salt. Cut a lemon in half and push it into the paste then squish the pulls into the lemon w/the paste. It will clean them right up, and you don't have to spend a ton of time cleaning up the cleaner! It's also great for copper pots, etc...
- brasso is fine if you want a mess. i use a paste from a tube called MAAS it can be purchased from your local westlakes hardware store. i would recommend a paste over a liquid any day. you squirt it out onto a clean white cloth and rub it over the brass. then followed by letting it set no more than a minute or two then rub it off with another clean white cloth. the paste will turn your paint or other surrounding area dirty from the discolouration the Maas cleans off. if it does just use window clean spread on a cloth and wipe off. it is easier than it sounds. i have been using MAAS for 5 yrs. now. wouldn't use anything else. where i work there is a lot of brass.
