Other than a boat anchor, what can I do with my old 486 computer?

Is it feasible to use it for home automation or some type of security system? Yes, it has a CD drive. Please help!!

2. It will be too old and slow to support any type of video for a security system. Boat anchor sounds like a good idea.
3. Donate it to your local community service group or volunteer center. Many old computers are being collected and sent to people in other countries who no doubt appreciate them.
4. You can write it off as a tax deduction if you give it to some local school.
5. Recycle it. I keep one around in case I feel like playing very old games.
6. Donate it to a museum.
