What are the best types of electronic lighting and automation systems to put in high-end homes?

We are looking for electronic control of all the systems in our new home. Thoughts?

  2. This is not something for the DIYer. Your best bet is to work with a lighting designer as well as a home automation company. If your house is under construction then this will be easy to do but if nothing is home run to a central point you will have a tough time.
