Is Elan Home Automation any good?

1. Elan is a great system, however can be very expensive. Another similiar system is made by Crestron or AMX.
2. Elan is the best home automation system for the money I would have to say. They are fantastics and I think the most affordable RS232 compatable system on the market, plus they have alot of support with other manufactorers. AMX and Crestron are better systems, but are MUCH more expensive, so if you looking for the best system for the money, Elan is the best choice.
3. Elan is a pretty good system, however, in my opinion, nothing compares to Crestron (of course I may be a little prejudiced since I am a Crestron Programmer)
