How easy or difficult is it to setup a wireless system on three home PCs?

Trying to setup a wireless system using LinkSys - and the password protection security system.

  1. Assuming everything goes perfectly, its extreamly easy. 10 minutes max. But, somethign always goes wrong, and I've racked up over 40 hours troubleshooting my network until I finally bought a new router. Deffinately if you don't have experience get someone else to help you out.
  2. easy, if you think going to the router's ip address and setting the security key then setting up the thing on the comp is easy. I'd go for wired, it's faster. And if there aren't enough plugs, get a switch.
  3. Not hard at all. I don't really know specifics, but our family set up wireless for 3 computers in less than a week
  4. Linksys has excellent tech support if you need help. Go to their website www.linksys.com and download on each pc... Linksys Web Connect PC. It will do all the work for you and all you do is answer a few questions. You should be able to do this in about 20 mins.
