I want to know if $900 cancellation fee on a 3 year contract Home Security system is a ripoff?

My system is a wireless system. What would you guys pay if you were to cancel your 3 years agreement?

  2. what did the fine print in the agreement/contract you signed say you would be penalized for early termination of the contract? that's what you agreed to pay.
  3. Sounds a little strong. What was the monthly fee. I was thinking most are only 20-25 a month. At 25 a month it would take 3yrs to equal 900 bucks. Is this a monitored system or is the 900 for the cost of the system? If it's in your contract then you will have to pay it.
