cost of new roof in Pennsylvania?

Hello What is the approximate cost for a new roof with the following details: Approximately 250 sqft standard shingles 2 large skylights approx 16 sqft each (No chimneys) It has 2 layers of old shingles currently There doesnt appear to be any rotted wood Low grade incline Location: Chester County, PA (Near Philadelphia) Any idea what is the cost (including labor, materials and disposal of old shingles) I am thinking it should be around $2500 since it is a small roof. I am trying to go with reputed companies. i forgot to add - we need to include ice/water shield as well.

  1. I would budget around $5K for it, even though you THINK that $2500 will work. What you always budget for home repairs always isn't what you end up paying.
  2. Roofing job should be less than a $1,000. Don't know about disposal. Prices really vary. if you can put a few boxes out (not too heavy) with your regular garbage, you'll save money.
  3. you must have meant 2500 sq ft. Probably a little more than $2500. around $3000.
  4. Tear off and install new is around $300 per 100 square feet, depending on replacement shingles. You can't dispose of materials and buy replacement materials for your budget amount
