How much will a tile roof Cost in Northern California?

I have a 1800 square foot home and would like to replace the wood shakes with tile roof, what is a general ball park figure range that I can expect to pay (materials+ Labor)

1. It has been a few years but I did one about that size for around $7,200. It was in Napa where things are a bit pricey even for Northern California. There is another thing to consider when switching from shake to tile roofs. The tile weighs a lot more. If your roof structure is not strong enough for the added weight you may have to do some structural work. Most roofing contractors give free estimates.
