2. Virtually every major lighting manufacturer (there are hundreds of them) make low voltage lighting fixtures. Each has their own in-house research and development team that designs low-voltage fixtures. If you are looking for well design fixtures and not those cheap Home Depot low-voltage fixtures, look at commercial lighting. Try Lithonia, Cooper, Hubbell, Lightolier, among many, many others. They will show product data sheets that will give you a good idea how they are designed. The key to designing any light fixture is in the reflector and how the reflector distributes light. The rest is simply for looks.
