has anyone installed low voltage lighting into soffit panels around the outside of a house.?
How is it done?

- No, but it sounds like a cool idea.
- No, but if you can find the right lights, this will be the cheapest and most cost effective way to light the exterior. You would only need to provide a 120-volt, 15-amp circuit to a power pack (transformer) anywhere in the attic. From the power pack, you string low-voltage wiring wherever you need the lights. The low voltage lights would be smaller, would require smaller holes and would most-likely snap into place. The tradeoff is that low-voltage lights normally don't have as much light output as 120-volt lights.
