If you want a retro look, you could use a stencil and do black dots scattered or in a pattern on one wall or along the top of the walls and the back ground pink, or opposite. You could also do a chalkboard wall with chalkboard paint and let everyone who comes over write on your wall with a pink chalk pen.
I can't find the picture, but you could do the walls in black and do a wide hot pink border around the top of the room, and maybe even pink and white polka dots on the walls. Just think about a victoria's secret type room.
