Remodeling Kitchen Need Ideas!!?

Moving into a new home and looking for ideas on colors. The kitchen will be a very light yellow with white cabinets. Most appliance are black and white. I need ideas for counter tops, flooring, accents color for towels, and trim colors. It is a fairly small kitchen too!! Let me know what you think!

1. One of my wife's favorite tricks is to choose a piece of wall paper she likes. She doesn't wall paper the room but uses the various colors in the wall paper to chose colors and shades of colors to decorate with. This way she knows the colors will blend and harmonize.
2. That first answer was very interesting. I like a brown, black, beige granite look counter top. Flooring any neutral color and then add your dramatic colors in towels and accessories. Even purple and red look good with yellow, get some paint swatches and lay them out to see what you like. Good Luck!!
3. I would suggest black granite countertops to blend with your black appliances. I'd also stick with white for the trim. The accents would look nice in a bold blazer blue, and then a light, crystal blue laminate tile floor (or ceramic, if you have the budget).
4. I would select a light colored wood laminate for the flooring and maybe a butcher block counter top.wood flooring and like countertops wil blend with most any type of decor.
