how can I change the background of my photos taken while remodeling the house?

I don't have photoshop, only easyshare by Kodak. Any other suggestions?

Indeed, very easy with Adobe Photoshop, just make a selection around the target and mask it, or delete it, then add the background wanted, alternatively you can also use a small eraser brush and go around the target zoomed in then drag the target over a background, feather edges slightly, color correct, and it will look more natural. If your not familiar with Photoshop then put it in a program you are familiar with and try the aforementioned techniques.
3. ,open the pic in photoshop: 1-change the name of the layer from "background" to a new name. 2-enlarge it and draw a selection perfectly around the main object 3-invert the selection and click delete,that will remove the unwanted background. 4-open the new background pic and drag it to the first pic,a new layer appeared 5-make color,level,size,contrast ,...etc corrections to match them. 6,merge layers
