Can you be addicted to remodeling your house?

  1. Yes. It's like anything else that we enjoy doing, it is hard to stop doing it.

  3. *laugh* yes, I think I am. The thought of my next project or doing something different with my house is never far from my thoughts......
  4. Absolutly-start with a bath room next thing you know you've got a new kitchen ,den and bedroom.Then start building an apartment in the basement to pay for all the remodeling.whew
  5. I was! Every pretty room I saw in a magazine or on tv, I wanted a room in my home to look like that. I would tear down a wall or whatever. Heck, I had my stairs rebuilt 3 times. That is silly and expensive. I must say, the last time, was the prettiest!!! I stopped and hubby and I had a beautiful home built. But, you know, there is so much that could be done with the master bathroom.....Oh, no...here I go again!!!.

Ive been attending HRB annonymous for 2 yrs... i dont think its helped my addiction to fixing and remodeling my house! i confess ive been adicted since my dad put a hammer in my hand 30 yrs ago! no cure... even if you cut all of my fingers off.. after a little couseling for not having fingers i think id be right back at it! whats HRB? home remodeling and building of course!

  8. YES. Anything can be too obsessive and can take over your life. Balance is the key!
  9. Doing our kitchen now. Bathroom is next. Then i think the living room again. And the basement could do with a makeover.....addicted....nah
