i want to put a chair rail up on my remodeling house. one wall is paneled. should I?

  1. If you leave the paneling as is I would say it would be hard to make it look nice. If you really want the chair rail my suggestion would be to paint the paneling. We bought a junky old fixer-upper and didn't have the money to entirely gut the house right off the bat so we left the paneling in two of the rooms and painted it. It came out looking pretty good.
