  1. Take off the shower head and clean it out. It just may be a deposit in there over the years finally clogged it enough to keep the water from coming out.
  2. Check the shower head. There may be a little button on it that shuts it off. If not, you will have to remove the shower head (it turns off counter clockwise) and soak it in CLR. Replace and it should be ok. It may be clogged with calcium, etc.
  3. take off your shower head... chances are you have settlement clogging it and or just replace it
  4. The shower head tends to collect alkaline sediment from the water. You can replace it or hang a jar of vinegar or coka cola from the shower pipe with the shower head dipped into it. It should be free of sediment overnight.
  5. your shower head may be clogged
  6. I think everybody pretty much got this question answered. Especially now-a-days, some shower fixture manufacturers put water saving washers inside the shower head to reduce the water flow. These washers can easily become clogged and stop the water from coming out. So, as everyone else has mentioned, it needs to come off so it can be completely cleaned. Thats the first place to start. If cleaning the shower head doesn't work, then you need to take a look at the valve mechanism. Whatever it is, it is confined to that shower, and not anywhere else in the plumbing...remember, there are two pipes running to the valve, hot and cold. Even if one of them got plugged, the other would still work...and the odds of both pipes getting plugged is astronomical.
