I'm thinking the average American knows sewer pipes get glued together. Every Home Depot has pipe fittings and glue on the same aisle. The Contractor told inspectors they did not have any glue for the pipes. Contractors name witheld to protect Di*K Cheney. Millions of Dollars in contracts all down the drain. If I went 4 years without a flushing toilet I would not be a happy passenger on the ShortBus

  1. PVC requires glue,steel piping is threaded and there are other types that are not glued,but use couplings(can't think of the name of that type right now. i would need to know what type was used
  2. this is just the tip of the iceburg. there has been so much wasted in Iraq its ridiculous
  3. see the truth is that most under ground sewage pipes made today aren't glued but use a rubber gasket, so that fact blows out your whole question. and where are you links to this question. and maybe the way they install there plumbing over in Iraq is diff rent from the US. because cast iron pips don't require glue but also have rubber gaskets, plastic pips use glue or gaskets.
