- I know this doesnt really answer ur question, but was talking to plumber the other day and he was telling me he wished he'd trained to be an electrician because there was more money in that than in plumbing.....Just thought it might be helpful to know.....
- Thought i would reply i am a trained Electrician and the only difference is the way you run your business I know a plumber earning £1800 p/week he only works 3days a week because he loves playing golf.Go for the NVQ and get ACOPS and you could easy earn £75p/hour 7days a weeks
- Probably best to get in touch with your local college and find out what plumbing quailfication you can get by doing a part time course. Some higher NVQ levels may only be available for full time courses because of the work involved. Hope this helps.
- I would have answered your question, but I avoid "pariahs". Nothing personal! ;)
- I AM DOING CITY AND GUILDS PLUMBING AND AM IN MY 4rth YEAR ON A PART TIME COURSE ONE EVENING A WEEK IN MY LOCAL COLLAGE I WILL BE QUALIFIED IN ABOUT ANOTHER YEAR AND THEN I WILL BE ABLE TO MOVE ON TO NVQ LEVEL 3 IT COSTS NOW ABOUT £300 A YEAR TO DO BUT I WAS LUCKY WHEN I ENROLLED THERE WAS A GOVERMENT GRANT AND I PAY £30 A YEAR IT WILL TAKE A LONG TIME TO BE FULLY QUALIFIED BUT THERE S LOADS OF WORK OUT THERE
- Now, it has come, a course called MEP Engineering in the UG Degree course, that can be chosen.
