I bought an Outdoor fireplace from Charbroil. Its screened in with a top lid. Can it be used on a wood deck?

  1. my neighbor has one.......when they used it on their deck it turned the wood darker than the rest......then it dried it out. outdoor fireplace is in the yard now
  2. HD or Lowes sells concrete board/fireproof under layment for the purpose. You might then also block that up with pavers or bricks to allow for dampness under. Certainly removing it on occassion to clean or re-treat the deck. Rev. Steven
