The fireplace blower is taking in air, rather than blowing it out, why?

It is a Washington StoveWorks fireplace insert. As I understand it the company is no longer in business. I set a notecard in front of the blower and it sucked the paper onto it. Is the blower suppose to be blowing hot air out? This one is sucking air in, any idea on why or how to fix it?

1. i think the fan maybe running backwards maybe due to a electric problem so iy may be a good idea it have someone take a look at it. this is only a guess and i may be rong.

3. Hi... If the motor for your fan is 220 volts,have someone switch the 2 hot wires...Good luck
