painting bathroom cabinets?
I recently painted my Bathroom cabinets, I started with sanding then applied and oil based primer and then topcoated with latex paint. I would like to apply a clear coat sealer, to protect the final product. Any suggestions on what is the best product. I would like the final finish to be satin.

- I wouldn't think you'd need the extra sealer... the latex paint should be sufficient. Personally would have put in a mildew resistant additive (they sell this in paint stores) that you mix in with the paint... Great for any kind of painting in humid places and works the best for bathroom ceilings.
- use a laquer or a satin spar varnish ,either one will give you good durability....painting contractor
- A really good clear topcoat for your application is to use urethane(latex) and not polyurethane. You've done it right thus far--now take it the distance. Urethane will take the humidity and shrink and expand along with the latex paint you used. Any store that sells paint will carry it. Ask for urethane - satin - and tell them NOT oil based. Ciao!
