- They make paint specifically for this: Touch up paintis one thing, your question was rather vague. frigidaire.com has touchup paint for I think less than 5 bucks. Spray paint is available at buy.com. type in "appliance paint" Krylon sells spray paint. It's an epoxy paint. I think I remember reading somewhere that not all appliances can be painted though... be careful. I think stove painthas tobe heat tolerant.... someone on the discovery channel had a car paint place do theirs.
- what about painting kitchen appliances???????? if you mean how?? it depends on what type of appliances your talking about??? can you give more info about your question please...
- Certainly it's possible, and has been shown on TV home make over shows. I wouldn't advise it but you may have moderate success. Keep in mind that the appliances may come from a factory with the finish baked on or specially prepared for long term endurance. That would be especially true/possible on a stove. Refinishing may not give you the same sheen, quality, endurance, or desired effect? On a refrigerator for example, if I was going to do the job I'd find a very smooth sand paper, even a wet sand type. Id scuff the original finish gently, allowing a better base for adhesion of a new finish, then I'd spray the areas in question. Keep in mind again, the appliance finish originally, is very much like a vehicle, and designed for the long term. After market, or after the fact changes in color/texture/design, by a howmowner, may not achieve what you desire. Rev. Steven
