can you recommend a suitable adhesive for bamboo flooring?

- PVA is probably your best bet as it will provide a waterproof seal and it dries clear, but it depends on the substrate you are laying on and the room in which its going.
- Taylor 2071 Roberts Stovic? Made in Germany Awesome product If you are new to laying the floor go with the roberts it dries slower. The Taylor and The stovic dry faster which lets you on the floor quicker. Double check bamboo floor thickness so you have enough glue and the right size trowel.
- As bamboo is extremly moisture stable it is suitable to install as a floating floor, best glue to use is a Polyurethane Adhesive e.g http://www.screwfix.com/prods/67369/Sealants-Adhesives/Adhesives/Wood-Glues/Polyurethane-Adhesive/Joiners-Mate-Adhesive-1ltr as it remains flexable once cured unlike PVA which is brittle, you will need a can of expanding foam gun cleaner (acertone) to clean the glue off before it sets as removing it once it has cured is very difficult
- Hey there, I don't know how much you need, but I've attached a link to DryTac flooring adhesives which is especially made for glue-down bamboo and engineered hardwood flooring. Good luck with your installation!
