How do I incorporate the asian theme into my bedroom when it it all light blue?

I will be renting a new apartment and I love the asian theme. However my new bedroom has light blue/white carpeting and robin egg blue walls. (I can paint the walls) What can I do to find the right color combo?

1. Study asian art, should give you plenty of color combinations.
2. Light blue and brown are very "In" right now and evoke a bit of an Asian theme. Keep the lines clean and minimalistic. Check out on line sources for bed sheets and comforters that match. Perhaps a short brown table at the end of your bed? Have fun.

4. i grew up in a Chinese home, and our "asian theme" was to put up chinese words and sayings from calendar clippings all around the house. and put oranges on the dinning table. but i think your walls and carpet go well with Japanese themed decor. Whatever you do, don't forget the bonsai tree
