- Take the lamp shade off to give more light. Other then that you will need more lamps
- just drive a car through the wall. there will be daylight in no time
- flood lights.
- use energy saving light bulbs 60v...they give off alot more light then regular bulbs...maybe a bedside lamp that can flex either down or up
- Get a bigger light.
- Yes, a larger light bulb.... like a 100 watt. Or get another lamp.
- *** mirrors double the light. also, try a lamp & / or sconces.
- get 4 new spot lights..one for each corner
- hang a mirror across from the window you have...mirrors add depth to rooms and think about changing colors or something like a border. Even a new comforter in some lively colors may help.
- Add a few matching lighted decor. It is an elegant touch to any rooms and adds a big "wow" factor. Lately the small portable lamps are in. Add color if you want it to be more relaxed; painting the walls a lighter shade will helps tons as well. Mirrors will be great as well, they'll open up the space more. Small changes and a little attention to detail will go a long ways for you. best of luck to you.
- I've got the same problem. Try putting in bulbs with high wattage (what works best for me is 75 watts). Also, try putting in a few lamps.
- Use the maximum lightbulb allowed (probably 60w), and get unfrosted bulb. Or if you can buy, try track lighting. It lets you point the light where you need it.
- All through my home I got the energy saver light bulbs. It uses 23 watts of electricity but lights up as well as a 100 watt bulb. Be sure to read the package.
- Use an Ott-Lite. They give off a safe and "natural" light. I use one in my basement apartment and it gives off a lot of light and also gives the illusion of being sunlight. They are available at most home decor/department stores and online. I bought mine from the Shopping Channel.
