how to remove light paint spray from wood cabinets?

we built a new house and the builders got sprayed paint on some of the wooden cabinet. very light, fine dots of paint. all purpose cleaner and wood cleaner doesn't remove them.

1. Mr. Clean Magic Eraser I find takes EVERYTHING off. (including some varnish on wood, so be careful).
2. I usually use paint thinner. But that's on just wood with out any wood stain or any other type of wood coating.
