light and perfume:in my new bathroom there is a cabinet with a low watt light bulb, I want?
to keep my perfumes there but don“t know of this light -not lit all day but is on for maybe 1 hour a day, will change the smell of the perfume.I also see this typeof light in face cream and face products displys in kmarts or stores like this.Is this light bad for the pruducts? I can feel the packages a little warm...can it damage the product?thanks!

- Well i worked at a fragrance counter for 2 years and yes light does change the frangrance. It makes the color go darker and it does change the smell a bit. Your always supposed to keep fragrance in a cool and dark place and away from sun light. and if you do so then your fragrance will last longer.
- i am not expert on such mastters but have never heard of this thing doing ant hasrm to such product my assessment is further strenthened by the fact these are displayed in light at deptt stores i think its safe go ahead all the best
- your perfumes, when heated by light or whatever may discolor and change its smell after a period of time..store it in a cool dry place..around room temperature...the packaging of perfumes in stores protects the product from the heat of those light. but if your perfumes are still inside their packaging then i guess it'll just be safe under those lights..:D
