  1. i think you really need to replace your Hard-disk buddy. but, before doing so, try to back-up your files and format your hard-drive. Re-install your OS and observe, it problems persist, you should buy a new hard-disk drive. hope this helps.
  2. The motherboard is going bad, and/or the processor as well. I'm having the same issue. It could also be the hard drive as well, did you try to reformat? Or change the hard drive? If you see popped or raised capacitors on the motherboard then you know that is definitely one of the problems. How long have you had the PC?
  3. this may not be a bad HD at all...it could be adware or virus activity occuring in the background...be sure to throughly scan for both .....also see if this occurs in safemode...F8 during startup. If all is fine now it may be some thing running during windows...
