  1. They are certainly made to withstand weather but will probably last longer if you put them in the garage.
  2. yes
  3. i put mine in the garage so i don't hit them with the snow blower (they cover up you know) other than that, see no reason you couldn't leave them out in the winter.
  4. you can leave solar lights out in the winter but you will not have much sunlight in the winter so it's best to bring them in and remove the batteries when spring comes you can recharge the batteries with an electric charger an install them in the solar lights and the sun will then recharge the batteries as usual
  5. IF YOU HAVE THE CHEAPER ONES (LIKE I DO) LET THEM RIDE. IT IS HARDER ON THE BATTERIES, BUT THEY ARE EFFECTIVE AND ATTRACTIVE EVEN IN SNOW....... (AS LONG AS YOU'RE NOT IN UPSTATE NEW YORK ..... :)
  6. Can you turn them off? If so, you can put them inside for the winter and it won't hurt the battery.
  7. I see no problem with it the batt will just discharge and when you put them back out it will charge back up
