Looking for Outdoor lighting that is SOLAR AND MOTION DETECTOR?
Looking for lighting that will go on when animals/people/etc are in my backyard. Also do not want to tie it into my electric. Any suggestions on brands, model numbers, stores that sell them would be appreciated (other than ebay!)

- These solar and motion detectors that you are thinking of won't light up any sort of area. They just emit a glow rather weakly, I'm afraid. We have them and they are alright putting them in to mark out the path, but that's about all. We have also installed a low wattage floodlight that comes on at dusk and off at dawn. It doesn't seem to effect our electricity consumption much.

- Lowes or Home Depot will have what you need. The solar lighting is the only kind that would not have to be tied into you electrical system.
