help with measurments?

hey im moving into a new house and im designing my bedroom for it. im kindof into interior design. i just need some comparisons. what compares to twelve feet? people say a ton ways as much as an elephant or whatever...what object or item is twelve feet long?

1. Two standard beds - end to end
2. When you extend your arms, the distance from left hand fingertip to right hand fingertip is about your height. So you can see that twice that distance is probably a little less than 12 feet - depending on how short you really are!
