Indian-Style Interior Design. Any ideas?

I am designing a master bedroom for a house I'm moving into next year and I am looking for ideas. I am thinking I want an Indian theme, and since I am visiting India this summer, I want to get the main idea sketched out before I leave (So i can buy fabrics and stuff there) Does anyone have any good pictures of Indian-designed rooms, or any cool ideas?   1. i would say use rich colours such as purples, oranges and reds. Combine them with some beautiful feeling fabrics (whatever you fancy really) and exquisite design. i too would love an indian theme for my bedroom when i move into my new home some time this year and have done some research on it. I think its great you're actually going to go to india because this is where you are going to find some real authentic colour schemes and patterns.   2. a beaded chandtelier with indian type colours in it, can get them at the pier can get indian style cushions in most places, use reds, light and dark browns, warm orange, exposed wood, silk goes well with indian type things, and swirly designs, search "indian furniture" on google or yahoo i love indian and morrocan themed rooms! get loads of cheap stuff when youre travelling
