my kitchen lights have been going on when i need them to without me doing anything.?

i was making dinner tonight and my kitchen lights went on by there self. my computer goes on by itself also. what do you think is going on?

  5. my guess is that you have a motion decting switch and a screen saver :)
  6. Hmm...you were making dinner with lights off the whole time? There may be a logical explanation about this. I'd suggest that you check for electricity because it prolly malfunctions for some reason, if it happens for the first time.
