what can I get for 10k in landscape design and installation?

We live in CA and our home is 2500 square feet. We had a built in negitive edge pool put in with a wrot Iron fence. Now we need to finish the landscaping. I'm hoping for concreate stairs, a Rainbow Play set, a flower and meditaion area.

5. In Cin you can get 5000 - 8000 pounds of uncut stone placed as pavers, 25 feet of raised stone wall 14" high to create a bed, one wrought iron fence, and a small fountain all ready to plant with $500.00 worht of perrenials.
6. $10k will buy a huge range of design and installation = SHOP AROUND!!! If I were spending $10k on landscaping, I would talk with 10 people. Try out different types of lanscapers -- theres the big guys who own nurseries and have a full page add in the phone book (talk with 2 or 3 of them), then talk with 2 or 3 from the phone book who have more average sized adds, then talk with a few who just have a number listed without an add. Often times you can find a person such as myself who doesnt have a ton of overhead and can make your money go much farther and it will look just as nice. But if you dont find such a person, I would go with the bigger, more reputable companies (bottom line is that you want it to look nice if your spending your $$$). Good luck, hope this helps!!!
