Is there a site than I can find out about designing a good landscape design for a grave site approx 2x6 ft/?

I need sugestions for flowers that do not need a lot of tending and a design that would look nice all summer.

  1. OMG, who'd you kill?
  2. I got some nice looking plastic border stuff that looks just like a fence and is only about 10'' tall and put it in between my grammas headstone and my uncles, which is right next to it. So it made a little garden area between the two. I've tried some Shasta Daisy and all kinds of flowery stuff. But the only thing that is still living and doing very well is Hen and Chicks. There are all kinds. It's really filling up. I haven't watered it since I first put them in. I wonder what part of the country you live in. I'm not sure if they would do well in constant standing water. Good Luck!
  3. I don't know about sites but for our own I put a 2ft high iron fence with a 18in gate got one of those bench arhbors at the end to sit on i store a sm hand rake under bench and have a small garden tomatoes up both sides cukes going on one side green beans on other had spring lettuce and raddish in the center. just nothing to deep its pretty profitable and a quiet place to read ihad a proplem with my pumpkin vines they went every where and the mower man got them
  4. There are often strict restrictions as to what can be done on the plot. if this is a private burial ground, I suggest day lillies, black eyed susans for fullsunlight, hostas for some shade; Depending on where you live, you could enjoy a longer blooming season by planting Dianthus varieties. None of the above will require much care - the lillies and BE susans will require thinning every 3-5 years. You may want to consider an evergreen like blue rug juniper - not much for blooms but nice in the winter as well.
