How do you wire solar panels to an inverter for electric landscape lights?

1. Same as you would a battery, (Red wire)+ goes to the + input of the inverter and the Black(-) goes to the negative(-) input of the inverter. but I can tell you now unless you have a battery in there. it won't work. You need to use the panel to charge a battery that runs the inverter.....WHY?: Because the panel only works in the daytime, you want the lights to work at night. So you use the panel to charge the battery, and IT runs the inverter which runs the lights...
2. i think you need a charge controller for the storage batteries. why inverter? use 12v lights
