  3. never cared much for christmas lights... i think the simple strand or two looks tacky. i do howevery like those folks who do full displays. that hard work, in my opinion pays off and looks really good.
  4. Yes--I did yesterday,and found some had burnt out.I just bought more--I have a lot worse problems than that to be worried about.
  5. we haven't, i don't think we will too.. but the past few years, we did.. and yea, that's happened a lot.. and it pisses me off coz it makes the decor look lame n cheap.. lol.. but, when u buy the xmas lights, a few spare bulbs go with em, right..? so, jez change em.. and when we run out of these spare bulbs, we use bulbs from old xmas lights coz most of em still work..Ü
  6. Not yet, but I did test my lights from last year. So far so good. I have a fear of ladders, so it takes me a few days to get everything hooked up.
  7. My husband did last weekend. I think he used all new bulbs this year. We haven't put up all the decorations yet, but we will soon. We may have the lights up, but it's still too early to light them. We'll probably light htem up next weekend. Besides, they don't look right without snow yet on the ground! I WANT SNOW!!!!!
  8. Yesterday was perfect. 60 degrees. Yes some of the lights didn't work but that happens every year.
